Memodyne Ingredients List, With Each Amount per Capsule
Quick answer
Memodyne's label shows seven ingredients in each capsule.
You get two arginine forms at 200 mg each, two citrulline forms at 100 mg each, beta alanine 40 mg, niacin 7.5 mg NE and calcium 18 mg.

What are the Memodyne ingredients? Seven lines on one capsule
The Memodyne supplement label prints seven active lines, each with its own amount. There is no proprietary blend, so every milligram can be checked against research.
| Label line | Per capsule | What it is | Studied mainly for |
|---|---|---|---|
| L-arginine (base) | 200 mg | Amino acid | Blood pressure, exercise, erectile dysfunction |
| L-arginine AKG 2:1 extract | 200 mg | Arginine bound to alpha-ketoglutarate | No authoritative page found |
| L-citrulline HCl | 100 mg | Amino acid salt | Blood pressure, exercise |
| L-citrulline malate | 100 mg | Amino acid bound to malic acid | Exercise |
| Beta alanine | 40 mg (no DV) | Amino acid | Short, hard exercise |
| Niacin | 7.5 mg NE (47% DV) | Vitamin B3 | Daily intake needs |
| Calcium (as calcium carbonate) | 18 mg (1.5% DV) | Mineral | Daily intake needs |
The four amino acid lines add up to 640 mg; with niacin and calcium, 665.5 mg. No line is caffeine or another stimulant, so the FOCUS and ENERGY words on the bottle do not come from a jolt.
Why do Memodyne ingredient lists disagree? Seven, six and six
Three sources, three lists. The bottle label has seven lines, the brand's sales page names six and drops calcium, and the seller pack names six and drops beta alanine.
| Ingredient | Bottle label | Brand sales page | Seller pack | "Inside" graphic |
|---|---|---|---|---|

What does the "Inside Memodyne" graphic leave out?
Beta alanine. Six tiles surround two bottles, and the 40 mg amino acid on the label has none. Tap a number.

- Niacin. No amount here; the label says 7.5 mg NE.
- Calcium. Shown here, yet absent from the sales page text.
- L-arginine (base). 200 mg. The molecule drawing is styling, not a measure.
- L-arginine AKG 2:1. 200 mg, part of it alpha-ketoglutarate rather than arginine.
- L-citrulline HCl. 100 mg of a salt, so under 100 mg of citrulline.
- L-citrulline malate. 100 mg of citrulline joined to malic acid.
- Where is beta alanine? On the label at 40 mg; no tile here.
- The small print. FDA has not evaluated these statements.
How much arginine and citrulline does one capsule really give?
Less than the lines add up to. The arginine lines total 400 mg and the citrulline lines 200 mg, but three of those four lines are bound forms that carry a partner molecule.
L-arginine AKG is arginine joined to alpha-ketoglutarate. Citrulline HCl carries hydrochloride and citrulline malate carries malic acid. The label gives no split, and we do not guess one.
Even a full 400 mg is one-tenth of the 4 g low end for blood pressure (RxList, L-Arginine (supplement monograph)), and 200 mg is about one-fifteenth of the 3 g low end for citrulline (Avicenna J Phytomed 2019, Barkhidarian et al., L-citrulline and blood pressure meta-analysis).
What does the Memodyne sales page say each ingredient does, and does the evidence agree?
Not in the sources we opened. Each brand one-liner sits beside what we found.
- Marketing only
the molecule responsible for dilating blood vessels in the brain
Sales page, L-arginineSome arginine becomes nitric oxide, a vasodilator (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Exercise and Athletic Performance (health professional)). No source measured brain vessels or memory.
- Marketing only
improves absorption and extends the vasodilating effect throughout the day
Sales page, L-arginine AKGNo authoritative page we opened covers this form at all.
- Marketing only
a continuous cycle of nitric oxide production
Sales page, L-citrulline HClCitrulline "might increase plasma levels of nitric oxide metabolites" (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Exercise and Athletic Performance (health professional)). Might is not a cycle.
- Marketing only
plays a direct role in energy production within cells
Sales page, L-citrulline malateNo source we opened covers malate; workout studies used grams of citrulline malate.
- Marketing only
improves cerebral microcirculation
Sales page, niacinThe NIH niacin sheet mentions memory only as a pellagra symptom (NIH ODS, Niacin (health professional)).
- Marketing only
protects neurons from age-related wear and tear
Sales page, beta alanineThe sports-nutrition position stand is about muscle and never mentions memory (ISSN position stand: Beta-Alanine (2015)).

Bottle frontThe asterisk leads to the FDA statement: not evaluated, not meant to treat any disease.
Are the Memodyne doses the same as in studies?
No. Every amino acid sits far below the amounts used in human research; only niacin reaches a real share of a daily need. Each bar is drawn to scale.
Label: under 400 mg. Studied: 4 to 24 g a day in blood pressure studies. (RxList, L-Arginine (supplement monograph)) (Memorial Sloan Kettering, Arginine (About Herbs))
Label: under 200 mg. Studied: 3 to 9 g a day in blood pressure trials. (Avicenna J Phytomed 2019, Barkhidarian et al., L-citrulline and blood pressure meta-analysis) (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Exercise and Athletic Performance (health professional))
Label: 40 mg. Studied: 4 to 6 g a day in exercise studies. (ISSN position stand: Beta-Alanine (2015)) (NIH ODS, Dietary Supplements for Exercise and Athletic Performance (health professional))
Label: 7.5 mg NE. Studied: 14 to 16 mg NE a day adult need (RDA). (NIH ODS, Niacin (health professional))
Label: 18 mg. Studied: 1,000 to 1,200 mg a day adult need. (NIH ODS, Calcium (health professional))
Small amounts do not cancel the medicine cautions on the side effects page. And the Global Council on Brain Health could not endorse any supplement for brain health (Global Council on Brain Health (AARP), The Real Deal on Brain Health Supplements).
Why is there calcium in Memodyne, and is 18 mg enough to matter?
Not for your daily total. Adults are advised to get 1,000 to 1,200 mg a day, so one capsule gives under 2% of that (NIH ODS, Calcium (consumer)).
The label prints 1.5% of the Daily Value, which for calcium is 1,300 mg (NIH ODS, Calcium (health professional)). The form, calcium carbonate, is the compound in antacids such as Tums. The label gives no reason for including it.
- Brand sales page
- Leaves it out; its six named nutrients skip calcium
- Seller pack and graphic
- Both include it
- Memory evidence
- None in the calcium sources we opened
- Timing
- Carbonate absorbs best with food; the label says 20 to 30 minutes before a meal
What else is in a Memodyne capsule besides the actives?
Three helpers listed as other ingredients: the shell and two processing aids, with no amounts.
- Hypromellose
- The capsule itself, made from plant cellulose: the label's vegetable capsule.
- Vegetable stearate
- A plant-derived lubricant that keeps powder off the filling machine.
- Silicon dioxide
- A fine mineral powder that keeps the fill flowing without clumps.
A brand badge says vegetarian but names no certifier.
What does each milligram of Memodyne cost?
About a quarter of a cent per milligram on the 6-bottle pack: the daily price divided by the 665.5 mg of listed actives in one capsule.
| Pack | Per bottle | Per capsule (one day) | Per 100 mg of actives |
|---|---|---|---|
| 6 bottles, free US shipping | $49 | $1.63 | about $0.25 |
| 3 bottles, free US shipping | $69 | $2.30 | about $0.35 |
| 2 bottles, plus about $9.99 shipping | $79 | $2.63 ($2.80 with shipping) | about $0.40 ($0.42) |
Matching the lowest blood pressure dose of arginine, 4 g, would take more than ten capsules, and the label says one a day, do not exceed. At the best price that is over $16 a day.
Memodyne ingredients: questions people ask
What is in Memodyne, ingredient by ingredient?
Two arginine lines of 200 mg, two citrulline salts of 100 mg, beta alanine 40 mg, niacin 7.5 mg NE and calcium 18 mg, in a hypromellose capsule.
Why does the Memodyne website name only six ingredients?
Its sales page skips calcium. The bottle label lists seven lines with amounts, and the label is the list to trust.
Does Memodyne hide any amounts in a blend?
No. All seven actives carry their own milligram figure.
Is there caffeine among the Memodyne ingredients?
No caffeine or other stimulant appears on the label.
Has any Memodyne ingredient been shown to improve memory?
Not in the sources we opened. The amino acid research covers blood pressure, exercise and erectile dysfunction at gram doses.
Why does Memodyne use two kinds of citrulline?
The label does not say. HCl and malate are two salt forms of one amino acid, and together give under 200 mg of citrulline.
How much calcium is in one Memodyne capsule?
18 mg as calcium carbonate, printed as 1.5% of the Daily Value. Adults need 1,000 to 1,200 mg a day.
