This is the whole Memodyne bottle label laid flat: directions on the left, the front in the middle and the Supplement Facts on the right. The brand shows the same picture on its own site. Tap a number for its note, or read the numbered list underneath.

The full flat Memodyne label: suggested use, storage, caution, a Made in the USA line and the Gex Corporation distributor block on the left; the teal head-and-network logo, Memodyne, Cognitive Support Formula, Focus, Clarity, Energy and 30 capsules in the middle; the Supplement Facts box, other ingredients and the FDA statement on the right
  1. Suggested use. One capsule a day with an 8 oz glass of water. For best results, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal, or as your healthcare professional directs.
  2. Storage. Cool, dry, away from heat and light. The label gives no temperature figure.
  3. Caution. Do not exceed the dose. Pregnant or nursing, under 18, or a known medical condition: see a physician first.
  4. Made in the USA line. Next to a small flag. No factory is named.
  5. Distributed by. Gex Corporation LLP, a PO box in Ogden, Utah, a phone and an email.
  6. COGNITIVE SUPPORT FORMULA*. The product's description. Its asterisk points to the FDA box on the right.
  7. FOCUS, CLARITY, ENERGY. Three icon words. They carry no asterisk and no explanation anywhere on the bottle.
  8. 30 CAPSULES. One bottle holds one month at the printed dose.
  9. Serving lines. Serving Size: 1 Capsule. Servings Per Container: 30.
  10. The two nutrient rows. Niacin 7.5 mg NE (47%) and calcium 18 mg as calcium carbonate (1.5%). Only these rows print a percentage.
  11. The five amino acid rows. Two arginine lines, two citrulline lines and beta alanine, each with ** where a percentage would go.
  12. The ** footnote. "Daily Value (DV) not established." No official daily target exists for those five rows.
  13. Other ingredients. Hypromellose (the vegetable capsule), vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide.
  14. The FDA box. Where the asterisk leads: not evaluated by the FDA, not meant to treat or prevent any disease.

What are the Memodyne Supplement Facts, word for word?

Seven rows, each with its own weight, and no proprietary blend. Below is the box as printed, in the label's order and spelling.

The 665.5 mg is the printed rows added up: 640 mg of amino acids, 7.5 mg of niacin and 18 mg of calcium. The sales page names six ingredients and drops calcium, so trust the bottle. Each row is covered on the Memodyne ingredients page.

What do "NE", "%DV" and "** Daily Value not established" mean?

They are three bits of label shorthand. None grades quality; they say how a row is measured and whether an official daily target exists.

NE: niacin equivalents

Niacin is counted in niacin equivalents because the body can also make it from an amino acid in food. Adult needs are written the same way: 16 mg NE for men and 14 mg NE for women, and the Daily Value is 16 mg (NIH ODS, Niacin (health professional)). So 7.5 mg NE is a little under half a day's need, which is where the printed 47% comes from.

The niacin form is not stated. Either way, 7.5 mg is far below the 30 to 50 mg of nicotinic acid that usually brings on flushing (NIH ODS, Niacin (health professional)).

%DV: percent Daily Value

This column compares a row with one official daily reference amount. Only vitamins and minerals have one, which is why just niacin and calcium get a number. The label prints 1.5% for its 18 mg of calcium, against a 1,300 mg Daily Value for adults (NIH ODS, Calcium (health professional)).

** Daily Value not established

The double asterisk sits in the %DV column of all five amino acid rows. It means no daily target exists for arginine, citrulline or beta alanine. It is not a warning and not a sign that something is hidden.

Why does the label list arginine and citrulline twice, in different forms?

Each amino acid appears once as a plain form and once bound to a partner molecule. The partner adds weight, so the true amount of amino acid is lower than the printed total.

Salt forms on the label and what they mean for the dose
Label rowWhat it isEffect on the real amount
L-Arginine (base)Plain arginine200 mg of arginine
L-Arginine AKG 2:1 ExtractArginine bound to alpha-ketoglutarate (often sold as AAKG)Part of the 200 mg is the AKG partner, so it gives less than 200 mg of arginine
L-Citrulline HClCitrulline as a hydrochloride saltLess than 100 mg of citrulline
L-Citrulline MalateCitrulline bound to malic acidLess than 100 mg of citrulline
Beta AlanineA plain amino acid40 mg

The upshot: arginine adds up to under 400 mg and citrulline to under 200 mg. No source we opened gives the exact split for the AKG form, so we do not guess a number. For scale, arginine was studied at 4 to 24 g a day for blood pressure (RxList, L-Arginine (supplement monograph)), and citrulline at 3 to 9 g a day (Avicenna J Phytomed 2019, Barkhidarian et al., L-citrulline and blood pressure meta-analysis).

"AKG" is not a second supplement added on top, and it is not creatine AKG. The arginine AKG page and the L-citrulline page go row by row.

What does the asterisk after "Cognitive Support Formula" point to?

It points to the small box under the other ingredients. That box says the FDA has not evaluated the statements and that the product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

Supplement makers may print claims about normal body function without FDA approval, as long as that disclaimer appears and they can show the claim is truthful (FDA, Structure/Function Claims). The asterisk is the disclaimer. It is not evidence.

Medicines: The label's physician line matters most for anyone on blood pressure medicine, nitrates or sildenafil-type drugs, since arginine can lower blood pressure (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine). The complete list sits on the side effects page.

Who makes Memodyne? The "Made in the USA" line and the distributor block

The label names no maker. "Manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients" gives a country and says some ingredients come from abroad, but names no factory or company.

Questions people ask about the Memodyne label

How many milligrams of arginine are in one Memodyne capsule?

Under 400 mg. The label lists 200 mg of plain L-arginine and 200 mg of L-arginine AKG 2:1, and part of the AKG row is alpha-ketoglutarate rather than arginine.

Does the Memodyne label hide anything in a proprietary blend?

No. All seven rows carry their own weight, so every amount is printed.

What does 7.5 mg NE mean on a supplement label?

NE stands for niacin equivalents, the unit used for niacin needs. 7.5 mg NE is 47% of the 16 mg Daily Value.

Why do five Memodyne rows show ** instead of a percentage?

Arginine, citrulline and beta alanine have no official Daily Value, so the label marks them with ** and the footnote reads "Daily Value (DV) not established."

Does Memodyne contain caffeine?

No caffeine appears on the label. The seven listed actives are amino acids, a B vitamin and a mineral.

Where is Memodyne made?

The label says manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. No manufacturer or factory is named.
